Paramount Pictures ha presentato un nuovo trailer per il film live-action di Legendary Entertainment tratto dalla serie di picchiaduro Street Fighter di CAPCOM, durante i Game Awards. Il trailer mette in risalto il cast del film.
Il film uscirà il 16 ottobre 2026.
Il franchise di Street Fighter
La serie di videogiochi ha ispirato un film live-action nel 1994 con Jean-Claude Van Damme, Raul Julia, Ming-Na Wen, Damian Chapa, Kylie Minogue e Wes Studi. Hyde Park Entertainment ha prodotto uno spin-off separato intitolato Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li con Kristin Kreuk nel 2009.
Machinima ha prodotto le serie live-action Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist e Street Fighter: Resurrection. Machinima ha pubblicato la prima serie sul suo canale YouTube nel maggio 2014. Una serie televisiva di Street Fighter: World Warrior era originariamente prevista per il 2018.
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie ha adattato il videogioco Super Street Fighter II di CAPCOM nel 1994. Il picchiaduro Street Fighter 6 (nella foto in alto a destra) è stato lanciato a giugno 2023 per PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S e PC tramite Steam.
